This is not a catalog. This is a discographical tool for researchers. I have no idea how to obtain these records.

Licensed/reissues/sources? – a ball of confusion – please help!
Art Union label
Pepper Adams – Encounter – ART 27 (labeled “licensed from Interplay” – info on original issue needed.) rec. January 3 & 4, 1969
Gildo Mahones Trio – ART 33 rec. August 14 & 16, 1990
François Ziegler asks: “Anyone seen a Pepper Adams “Encounter” on Interplay? Bruyninckx shows an Adams album with that title, but on Prestige recorded 3 weeks earlier, Dec. 11-12, 1968, featuring Zoot Sims.”
Peter Friedman responds: “I am quite certain that the Pepper Adams-Encounter I have on (Japanese) ART which states it was licensed from Interplay is identical musically to the Prestige release. The explanation for all of this confusion may be that the original was produced was Fred Norsworthy. He owned this material and may have sold or leased it to more than one record company for release.”
