Clarinetist, vibraphonist, club owner. Thomas Oliver Gwaltney, III born February 28, 1921 in Norfolk, Virginia; died February 11, 2003 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Attended the Norfolk Division of the College of William & Mary.
