Mr. Henry’s Upstairs

(1966-1967-1970-1971-)

Formerly 601 Club, which featured country and western music. Owned by Henry Yaffe (1966-1970); Larry Quillian (1970-), Alvin Ross (-2014), Mary Quillian (). Manager Mark Steele (2014-) reintroduced live jazz.

The upstairs room was created in 1968 for Roberta Flack, who had been successfully performing at Mr. Henry's Georgetown.
