Baird Auditorium

10th Street and Constitution Ave., NW in the Smithsonian Institution National Museum of Natural History.

Dedicated to Spencer Fullerton Baird, first curator at the Smithsonian Institution, on November 16, 1971. Previously referred to simply as the “auditorium of the Museum of Natural History.” 

The auditorium served as a home to the Left Bank Jazz Society of Washington, D.C. from 1969 to 1970.
